Pastor Chris to Illuminate Christmas Eveand New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome hosts his annual Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve Services along with the Future Africa Leaders’ Awards (FALA) at the end of December.

7 December 2023 – A season full of Christ Embassy activities is just around the corner as the ministry prepares for a number of events hosted by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in December.

The first one is the pastor’s annual Christmas Eve Service, which takes place on Sunday, December 24th. The event will be streamed live on all LoveWorld tv channels and internet platforms at 9 PM GMT+1.

At the Christmas Eve Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will celebrate the holiday with his worldwide audience as well as take a look back at the year that is about to end. As in previous years, artists from the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry are expected to perform at the event.

A week later, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has two programs planned on the same day as Sunday, December 31st marks the time of the annual New Year’s Eve Service and the Future Africa Leaders’ Awards.

At the New Year’s Eve Service, which will be streamed on all LoveWorld tv channels and internet platforms, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will present the new theme of 2024. The Christ Embassy president gives each year a name, meaning that the ministry will also say goodbye to 2023, the “Year of the Prolific Church,” on Sunday, December 31st.

At last year’s New Year’s Eve Service, he gave viewers three instructions for 2023:

  1. Prioritize the ministry of the Spirit
  2. Prioritize the word of God
  3. Use the name of Jesus

Sunday, December 31st is also the day of the Future Africa Leaders’ Awards (FALA), where Pastor Chris Oyakhilome rewards young African leaders who have made a difference in their local community this year. The nominees will be revealed in the near future, and 10 of those nominees will go home with prizes.

The Star Prize winner is set to receive $25,000, while nine other young leaders will get $10,000 each to help them continue their innovative initiatives.

Last year’s Star Prize winner was Lebsey Petmia Lebgaga from Cameroon, who was praised for her use of technology to address societal concerns.
