Kazakhstan to send additional 38 tons of humanitarian aid to Palestine

On November 29, Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar announced that Kazakhstan will provide extra humanitarian aid to Palestine at the government commission meeting.

The second batch of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people will include food, bedding, medicines, and medical devices, totaling more than 38 tons. The goods will be sent by air transport in the near future. Previously, Kazakhstan provided Palestine with humanitarian aid amounting to $1 million.

On November 3, speaking at the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Astana, Kazakhstan’s President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, emphasized the urgent task of ensuring the safety of the people of the Gaza Strip, especially children and the elderly caught in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. In this context, Kazakhstan will provide humanitarian aid to the victims of the confrontation.
