Kootenay Silver’s latest three drill results show some of the best ever on the Columba Project in Mexico

–News Direct–

Kootenay Silver CEO Jim McDonald joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the recent bonanza-grade findings from the ongoing drilling at the Columba Silver Project in Mexico.

The company reported results from three additional holes, which are part of a larger 12-15 hole drilling program. This program is aimed at expanding the known mineralization within the "D Vein" target area at Columba.

McDonald conveyed to Proactive that the widths and grades encountered at the D Vein have been highly promising, bolstering the companys confidence in the areas potential for a significant silver resource.

Notable results from the drilling included a 29-meter core length with an average of 208 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 0.21% lead, and 0.46% zinc, found 250 meters downhole. Within this intercept, a particular section of 2.37 meters yielded 1,142 gpt silver, 0.1 gpt gold, 0.9% lead, and 2.5% zinc, starting from a depth of 274 meters.

These results are encouraging for Kootenay Silver as the company is progressing towards the goal of announcing a maiden resource by the end of 2024.
