Of the many new features in this major release, one is BGuardian, in the area of added security. BGuardian further compliments Baculas already especially strong security qualities. It has innovative new security tools such as data poisoning detection, centralized encryption and an all-new cybersecurity dashboard for single-pane security control across an entire organization.

Bacula Enterprise Version 18 also introduces state-of-the-art upgrades to Baculas previously available Kubernetes, VMware and Oracle backup modules and expands its wide range of storage immutability capabilities. Version 18 delivers an increase in Baculas multi-tenancy feature-set and also includes a wide range of new automation features.
