Cary Stamp & Co., Principled Wealth Advisors, a nationwide provider of financial advisory services, today announced that accomplished wealth management executive Michael Reed has joined the company as Chief Strategic Officer and Chief of Staff. He teams up with a strong executive team including Cary Stamp, CEO, Patrick Thompson, COO, Jack Schanne, CIO, and Ryan Swenson, CGO.
In this newly created role, Reed will lead Cary Stamp & Co.s efforts to grow through mergers and strategic new hires while also refining the companys operational platform to support scale and organizational efficiency. With $415 million in assets under management, Cary Stamp & Co. employs 14 team members, including seven advisors, and serves clients in 32 states.
Michael has a remarkable track record of building businesses, identifying acquisition opportunities, and providing support to make advisors successful, said Cary Stamp, CFP, the companys founder. Previously, Reed was Chief Operating Officer and Managing Member of Dakota Wealth Management, a registered investment advisor in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. At Dakota, Reed was instrumental in planning and launching the company and then spearheaded a uniquely employee-centric operations platform with a comprehensive M&A integration approach. During his tenure at Dakota, the firm expanded to include three subsidiaries and executed approximately 10 transactions and six tuck-ins, growing the company to 65 team members with 14 offices in 11 states in less than five years.
