With the recent launch of its new trauma-informed care center, the residential inpatient rehab program provides an avenue to healthier living for those currently struggling with substance use disorder. The program’s experts have found that anxiety, mood disorders, and emotional trauma are the primary causes of both drug and alcohol abuse. The center seeks to provide long-term solutions to substance use dependency through clinical work and emotional therapy.

According to the National Safety Council, a record high of 98,268 Americans died from overdoses in 2021. This statistic shows that a great number of lives are constantly at risk of being lost to drug and alcohol abuse.

Utah Trauma & Addiction Centers newly launched substance abuse program seeks to save lives by addressing mental health. The program includes a personalized treatment-of-drug-abuse plan. Many people with substance use disorder suffer from unidentified dual diagnoses. The center provides customized programs to help those with borderline personality disorder and dissociative identity disorder.

The rehabilitation facility offers a host of addiction services beyond substance abuse. Individuals in need have been treated at the Eagle Mountain facility for eating disorders, alcohol addiction, and more.

The facility maintains a 24-hour phone hotline so families in need can call anytime. Patients across the United States are welcome. Utah Trauma & Addiction Centers has earned National Quality of Approval from the Joint Commission, indicating that it meets a high threshold of performance standards.

When describing the program’s personalized treatment plans, a Utah Trauma & Addiction Centers spokesperson stated, “We care about our patients and their families. Because everyone is unique, we create a custom treatment plan for each person who comes seeking help from us.”
